Back to Paris: Dikiro and His French Friends Exhibition

DiKiro's art arrives back to Paris - the city where the late Bulgarian artist found inspiration and energy throughout his life. Three years after Dimiter Kirov's death his art is on display at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute (BCI) in France. Art works owned by the late artists numerous friends and admirers' in the French capital will be exhibited for the first time together. The love, recognition, support and respect that Dimiter Kirov shared with his French friends are still alive in his works, and through them he will once again be with us in Paris, says the late artist's wife Roussalia Kirova.

A devoted follower of French language and culture since childhood and a bearer of the French Legion of Honour for Art, Kirov has always named Paris as one of the three world cities that he truly belonged to, Kirova recalls. This is why it makes sense that the first display of his art abroad after his death should be in Paris, Kirova explains.

The exhibition will take place in the recently renovated hall of the BCI, shortly after the exposition of aquarelles and drawings by Bulgaria's legendary 20th century artist Vladimir Dimitrov - The Master. DiKiro has been connected to The Master and his art both creatively and through the family of his life-long wife and muse Roussalia that The Master had been a member of.

DiKiro's exposition in Paris is hosted by Bulgaria's Ambassador to France Marin Raykov and the director of BCI Diana Ignatova. Guests and admirers of Kirov's art from France, Bulgaria, England and Switzerland e exhibition. The exhibition hall's address is:
